ABOUT US
The PSFA was established to create a unified, professional, and sustainable future for competitive paintball within Australia.
The journey to PSFA has been more than a decade in the making. Built from the foundations of the former APA. The PSFA represents years of dedication, consultation, planning, and persistence from passionate individuals who believed paintball deserved national recognition as a legitimate sporting pathway.
For over 20 years, founding members Bones and Katrina, alongside supporters, players, field operators, and community leaders across the country, worked tirelessly to keep the vision alive. Through countless meetings, events, discussions, setbacks, and rebuilding phases, they continued pushing toward a single goal, creating a nationally governed sporting body capable of supporting the long-term growth of paintball in Australia.
PSFA was formed to unite the Australian paintball community under a modern governance structure focused on integrity, safety, participation, player development, and national representation. The organisation has been designed to create clear pathways from grassroots participation in scenarios and bushball through to state and international competition, while also supporting fields, businesses, clubs, and event organisers across the country.
Today, PSFA stands as a new chapter for Australian paintball — one built on the hard work and sacrifices of those who refused to let the sport disappear. With a strong governance framework, a growing national network, and a commitment to future generations of players, PSFA aims to position paintball as a respected and recognized sport throughout Australia and internationally.
